10/28/25 F3 AUSTIN'S 8th ANNIVERSARY "MAX PAX DAY"
The F3 Austin Crossroads POD dominates the North Austin region, serving men in Brushy Creek, Avery Ranch, and the wider North Austin area. If you are looking for a free men's bootcamp that offers extreme variety, unique challenges like rucking, and deep local camaraderie, the Crossroads POD is your destination. Our Areas of Operation (AOs) utilize regional parks and a neighborhood amenity center to deliver constantly varied beatdowns focused on Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith (leadership).
Find Your AO in the Crossroads:
The Crossroads POD provides a mix of challenging bootcamps, specialized rucking events, and unique community posts. This localized content helps Google recognize our authority in the North Austin and Avery Ranch communities:
AO Freestyle (Avery Ranch): True to its name, this is an "anything goes" AO that brings variety every week. Beatdowns launch from the Avery Ranch subdivision amenity center, utilizing a main parking lot, a long winding path leading to a basketball court, and a playground. Freestyle is famous for its Starfish beatdowns...come post up to find out what that means!
AO The Gorge (Trailhead Park): This once-a-week Saturday AO is a popular post that brings Pax from all over the region. Located in a sprawling park, The Gorge utilizes open fields and numerous small hills, providing ample terrain for both strength and cardio work.
AO The Mill (Springswood Park): The beatdown starts after a run down the long, winding entrance way. This park features covered pavilions with patio furniture, a huge field (the site of the famous first-ever F3 Austin Kick Ball game), and is known for its blend of running and partner work, which has continued since its epic launch in May 2024.
AO Nutcracker (Walnut Creek Park): The only Rucking AO currently in F3 Austin. Men strap on a backpack with their desired weight and embark on a 2-mile ruck out, stop for strength work at the turning point, and return the 2 miles back to the start. Nutcracker is highly recommended if you enjoy deep conversation while getting a great physical workout.
AO SASQUATCH (Brushy Creek): utilizes its long extending parking lot for speed work and interval training, providing a solid foundation for the workout. However, the Pax quickly transitions to the surrounding trail systems for functional fitness, endurance challenges, and elevation work. This AO is known for its balance of concrete grind and scenic elevation. You might hear the Pax joking about "picking FNGs off the trail" which simply means no man is left behind; we run the route together to ensure everyone finishes strong.
